Limited Edition Release-Only 48 cases produced

This 2018 Steelhead Creek Vineyard Fountaingrove District Cabernet Sauvignon was picked on October 11, 2018 at 25 Brix. The vineyard is organically farmed but not certified. Very low production, about 2 tons per acre, struggling vines with very small berries.

It has the flavor and structure of a Sonoma County mountain vineyard. The vineyard is in rocky soil with low nutrients and high mineral content. It is deep and rich and extracted yet has the Sonoma character in that it is gentler and better balanced than its Napa neighbors.
