The Giovanatto family has been in the northern Alexander Valley town of Cloverdale for over 80 years. Pierre Giovanatto's father ran a gravel mining company and farmed this beautiful old vine zin vineyard. The vineyard was planted in 1974 on St. George rootstock with the Heritage clone.
